Amazing food! So glad we decided to dine here because the food was amazing. The carne asada nachos and the calamari were amazing! My acquaintance enjoyed his burger as well. They were a bit busy for a Tuesday night, but overall it was fine. The views were also crazy amazing. We 100% would come back.

Surprised to find fine dining in a tourist town on the water. Pros: Our server Alyssa, while young, great server for fine dining. She was always present but not bothersome, she was always keeping an eye on our table without having to interact. The food was fantastic, tortillas made in the dining room, and served with cinnamon butter. the Birria tacos were fantastic, I've made this dish myself and know how hard it is, perfect seasoning they did. Lobster mac ( hard to go wrong with mac:) served over a bed of Poblano roasted peppers. Seating along the glass on the water, can't beat the view. Cons: The hotel next door owns the building and puts up signs saying to pay $15 for parking online, don't do it. That is only for overnight guests but it doesn't say that so people pay all the time. I asked first so I didn't get taken. Love this place, look forward to going back!

Awesome dinner. We shared a couple very good dishes. Tacos and nachos I think. Nachos were huge. Wait staff definitely on point. Huge party next to us but very quiet and respectful. We'd go back!

Before I get into the food, the staff and the service are simply outstanding. They are warm and welcoming and very helpful and accommodating. Now, on to the food--for someone who grew up in LA and is somewhat self-proclaimed Mexican food aficionado, I really enjoyed the food here. The hand-made tortillas with the cinnamon butter--that's like a DIY dessert waiting to happen. And, of course, the view and ambiance are amazing. Nicely done.

Went for dinner on a Saturday and the food was amazing as well as the drinks. Also worth mentioning is the incredible view while you dine! The enchiladas were so tasty in the green sauce. The flat iron chimichurri steak was very flavorful accompanied by the best beans and rice. Their homemade tortillas are just top tier elevating all their dishes. The drinks are well made and delightful. My favorite were the Sparkling Pom and the Fresca. The staff is super attentive, helpful, and friendly! We enjoyed it so much we returned on Sunday for their brunch. Cheers to Bottomless mimosas!

Date: Monday, July 24th, 2023 Time: 11:30am Party of: 2 Meal: Lunch / Brunch Reservations Made: via OpenTable that same day *El Jefe Margarita ($14) *Diet Pepsi ($2.99) *Clam Chowder Cup ($8) *L Molcajete ($36) *Fish Tacos ($18) *Tequila Well ($6) For our final meal before leaving Pismo, the hubby and I decided to check out Ventana Grill. This has been in my bookmarks for quite some time, so finally decided to check it out. It was a slow Monday morning. They sat us in a corner booth by the window. First off, the views are very nice. Service was friendly and attentive. My margarita was spicy, but a little light for me. I added an extra shot. I decided to order the molcajete. I'm not quite sure why I decided to get a large. Maybe it had more variety? It was definitely enough food for just one, maybe even two people. Comes with tortillas, beans, rice, etc, so the hubs helped eat all that. I found it a little too rich with all the cheese, etc, but eating some of it is fine. Finishing the whole thing would have been too much. Glad I finally checked off this spot. Come for the views and enjoy a drink or two with some food on the side. REVIEW #3439

My fiancée and I had reservations, and we were greeted and seated by the hostess. The view we had of the Pacific Ocean was amazing! We were able to bird watch and see the waves of the ocean, I would go back for this view! The drinks were delicious. The cocktail I had was the Fresca. If you like your drinks on the sweeter side, this is the one! My fiancée got the Ventana Sunset, he enjoyed it, I'm not a gin fan.. but if you like gin, you will like this drink The Steak & Shrimp Molcajete was fantastic. We ended up sharing this meal between the two of us, and it was more than enough. The steak and the shrimp were nicely seasoned and cooked paired with the salsa and the avocado... chefs kiss! However I only gave this place 4 stars, the service lacked. Our waitress only checked on us at the beginning, when we sat and at the end when we were ready to pay. She wasn't even the one who brought our food out. My water cup was empty, I ended up drinking my fiancées water.. it would have been nice if she rounded to see if we needed anything at least once.
